Legacy Foodservice Alliance Hosts The Marketplace, Purchasing and Marketing Conference, In Palm Harbor Florida.

Legacy Foodservice Alliance, a Richmond Virginia based Foodservice Supply Chain Alliance, held it’s semi-annual buying and business conference over three days at the Innisbrook Golf and Spa Resort in Palm Harbor Florida.

The Marketplace, took place February 26-28, 2017 and was host to over 350 Independent Foodservice Distributors and Supplier attendees from across the United States and its territories. “Exciting! This was our largest attendance to date – we continue to build our Alliance with fully-engaged Members” said Steve Push, Legacy Foodservice Alliance CEO. Push adds; “The Marketplace offers Members an opportunity to make new contacts and find new ways to do business together.”

In conjunction with The Marketplace, Legacy presented The StreetWise® Sales and Marketing Connection held February 28 – March 1, 2017. Distributor Sales Representatives (DSRs), Marketing and Sales Managers from Legacy Distributor Members spent two days with industry veterans, chefs and marketing professionals learning about food, sales and relationship building. “Education and training is large part of what Legacy offers our Members,” said Deb Winter, Legacy EVP of Sales. “What makes training and events like StreetWise® important is, these events are attended by current and next generation of foodservice professionals. Anything we can do to accelerate their learning and skillset is a benefit to each of them and our industry.”

Don Hughes, COO shared; “Now the effort switches to capitalizing on the great things that happened at The Marketplace. We have a packed 2017 calendar and are looking forward to spending time with our Members and working hard to grow their businesses.
