Supply Chain Alliance Hosts Purchasing and Business Conference in Orlando. 

Legacy Foodservice Alliance held the 2018 Spring Marketplace in Lake Buena Vista, Florida, the home of Disney. The conference took place February 25-27, and was attended by over 300 Legacy Distributor and Supplier Members from across the United States and its territories. “This Marketplace was very special,” said Steve Push, Legacy Foodservice Alliance Chairman and CEO. “We have several Members that were greatly affected by the hurricanes last year – and to have them back in business and here with us was fantastic.” Push added.  The Marketplace is Legacy’s semi-annual Purchasing and Business Development Conference that provides Supplier Members an opportunity to generate volume sales, and develop promotional planning with Distributor Members’ key decision-makers and company leaders.

In conjunction with The Marketplace, Legacy hosted the StreetWise® Sales and Marketing Connection. The goal of the Connection is to create an intimate and interactive learning environment for Legacy Members’ DSRs and Sales Teams. About 50 Legacy Members participated in the Connection over two days with hands-on product training, industry insights, and team collaboration.

“The StreetWise® Sales and Marketing Connection continues to grow” added Deb Winter, Legacy Executive Vice President. “We doubled our participation from last year, and we are already looking forward to, and planning for next year.”

Legacy Foodservice Alliance will hold its 2018 Fall Marketplace September 30 – October 3, at the Lansdowne Resort, near Washington, D.C./Dulles Airport.
