Legacy Foodservice Alliance welcomed U.S. House Representative Dave Brat to the Legacy Offices.
Rep. David Brat of Virginia visits Legacy Foodservice Alliance
Rep. David Brat (R-VA) visited Legacy Foodservice Alliance in Glen Allen, Virginia on August 3. Steve Push, CEO, provided an overview of the foodservice distribution industry and the Congressman then met with Legacy’s staff. The group discussed a range of topics from the untapped power of small businesses to the current election and the impact it will have on small businesses and the distribution industry.
Established in 2009, Legacy Foodservice Alliance is a national organization that combines the purchasing power of more than 160 Independent Food Distributors and 600 Suppliers.
“Visits like this are the best way to help lawmakers understand the consequences of their decisions on companies back home,” said Jon Eisen, IFDA’s senior vice president of government relations. “They are critical opportunities to provide lawmakers with an understanding of the challenges faced by the foodservice distribution industry and the key role they play as employers in the community.”
